Oscar Health Swings to Q1 Earnings; Revenue Rises; 2024 Outlook Reaffirmed; Shares Jump Pre-Bell

08:31 AM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oscar Health ( OSCR ) reported Q1 earnings Tuesday of $0.62 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.18 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected earnings of $0.26 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $2.14 billion, from $1.47 billion a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.99 billion.

For 2024, the health insurance company reiterated its prior revenue guidance of $8.3 billion to $ 8.4 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $8.38 billion.

Oscar Health ( OSCR ) shares climbed by more than 17% in premarket trading.
