08:53 AM EDT, 08/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Paramount Skydance ( PSKY ) said Wednesday that it will develop its Nickelodeon, MTV, and BET networks, as well as boost feature film production, according to multiple media reports.

The announcement comes a week after the closing of the $8.4 billion merger of Paramount Global and Skydance Media.

"We're thinking about ... the cable networks, not as declining linear assets that we need to spin off or deal with somehow," President Jeff Shell said at a media gathering on the Paramount Pictures lot, according to a Reuters report. "We're thinking of those brands that we have to redefine."
