Parsons Venture Wins $665 Million Contract Extension for Hudson Tunnel Project

04:42 PM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Parsons (PSN) and its joint venture partners, UK-based Mace and Arcadis (ARCAD) of the Netherlands, won a $665 million, 4.5-year contract extension from the Gateway Development Commission to continue managing the Hudson Tunnel Project.

The project is on schedule for the new Gateway Tunnel completion in 2035, and the existing tunnel's rehabilitation by 2038, MPA Delivery Partners, the joint-venture company, said Tuesday in a statement.

The project involves building a new two-tube rail tunnel and upgrading a 115-year-old structure, enhancing Northeast Corridor reliability for NJ Transit and Amtrak between New York and New Jersey.
