10:51 AM EDT, 08/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Oceanic Iron Ore ( FEOVF ) overnight Thursday said it named Chris Batalha as chief executive and executive director, succeeding Bing Pan who had served as interim CEO.

Batalha returns to the company after serving as chief financial officer and corporate secretary from 2014 through 2022.

Previously, Batalha has held executive positions at Artemis Gold and Atlantic Gold.

The company's share price at last look rose 6.3% to $0.085 in early Friday trading.
