06:59 AM EDT, 08/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Perseus Mining ( PMNXF ) late on Thursday said Managing Director and Chief Executive Jeff Quartermaine will retire on Sept. 30 and remain in a consultancy role.

Craig Jones will take over from Quartermaine, who joined Perseus in 2010 as CFO and was appointed CEO in 2013. Jones will join Perseus on Aug. 18 and will assume the positions of managing director and CEO on Oct. 1.

Jones previously served on Newcrest's executive team and held board positions at SolGold and Lundin Gold.
