04:13 PM EDT, 06/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Petrobras (PBR) said Friday that Chief Executive Officer Magda Chambriard appointed Fernando Melgarejo as chief financial officer.

Sylvia dos Anjos will lead exploration and production, and Renata Baruzzi will be head of engineering, technology and innovation.

The nominations will undergo internal governance procedures, including compliance and integrity analyses, before review by the board, Petrobras said.

Petrobras shares fell 0.2% in recent after-hours trading. They dropped 1.5% in the regular session Friday.
