09:29 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Petrobras (PBR) said Tuesday its Petrobras Global Finance unit has launched an offering of new US dollar-denominated global notes and concurrent cash tender offers to buy back certain existing US dollar-denominated notes.

The company said it plans to use the net proceeds from the new notes offering to fund the tender offers, with any remaining proceeds to be used for general corporate purposes.

The tender offers, which include six series of notes, are set to expire at 5 pm ET on Sept. 9, Petrobras said.
