Pfizer Appoints Patrizia Cavazzoni as Chief Medical Officer

01:01 PM EST, 02/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Pfizer ( PFE ) said Monday Patrizia Cavazzoni will be rejoining the company as chief medical officer.

Cavazzoni was most recently the director of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the US Food and Drug Administration, Pfizer ( PFE ) said.

Cavazzoni will succeed Aida Habtezion who will be leaving Pfizer ( PFE ) to pursue other opportunities.
