04:12 PM EDT, 10/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Pfizer ( PFE ) said late Friday that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission has granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act for its proposed acquisition of Metsera ( MTSR ) .

The early approval satisfies the primary U.S. regulatory requirement for the deal, which had been set to expire on Nov. 7, the company said.
