09:33 AM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Phillips 66 (PSX) said Wednesday that it has completed the conversion of its Rodeo facility in the San Francisco Bay Area to expand its renewable fuel output.
The company said the Rodeo facility has increased rates to 50,000 barrels per day, or 800 million gallons a year, reaching the company's goal of reaching full capacity by Q2. The facility started producing 30,000 barrels per day of renewable fuel at the end of Q1, the company said.
The company said the facility was designed to produce renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, among other products.
