Pinnacle Financial Partners Names Charissa Sumerlin Chief Credit Officer

04:07 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Pinnacle Financial Partners ( PNFP ) said late Wednesday that Charissa Sumerlin will take over as its chief credit officer with immediate effect, succeeding Harvey White, who served as interim chief credit officer following the death of Tim Huestis in late 2023.

Sumerlin joined Pinnacle in 2018, and in June 2022, she became Pinnacle's deputy chief credit officer as part of Huestis' succession plan.

White, the firm's chief credit officer from 2009 to 2019, will continue to work on special projects in the credit arena.
