Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.77.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and non-interest income, was $466.7 million, up from $408 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $458.4 million.

The company said its board maintained a quarterly cash dividend of $0.22 per share, payable on Nov. 29 to shareholders of record on Nov. 1.
