Pinnacle West Capital Swings to Q1 Net Loss, Operating Revenue Rises; 2025 EPS Outlook Maintained

08:56 AM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Pinnacle West Capital ( PNW ) reported a Q1 net loss Thursday of $0.04 per diluted share, compared with earnings per share of $0.15 a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.01.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $1.03 billion, up from $951.7 million a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1 billion.

The company said it continues to expect 2025 diluted EPS of $4.40 to $4.60. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $4.55.
