03:10 PM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Planet Labs (PL) said Thursday it extended the contract to provide data to the Taylor Geospatial Institute through 2026.

The contract allows the institute to access various Planet Labs products, including PlanetScope data, SkySat data and Planetary Variable analytic services, to support research, the company said.

Planet Labs shares rose 2.6% in recent trading Thursday.
