Powell Industries Fiscal Q1 Net Income, Revenue Rise -- Shares Fall After Hours

05:25 PM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Powell Industries ( POWL ) reported fiscal Q1 net income late Thursday of $2.86 per diluted share, up from $1.98 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.61.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $241.4 million, up from $194 million a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $232.6 million.

Shares were down more than 5% in recent after-hours activity.
