10:02 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PowerSchool Holdings ( PWSC ) said Tuesday that Bain Capital has closed its acquisition of the company for $22.80 per share in cash, for an enterprise value of $5.6 billion.

PowerSchool ( PWSC ), a provider of cloud-based software for K-12 education, said it will now operate as a privately held company with Vista Equity Partners and Onex Partners each holding a minority stake.
