PPL Q3 Adjusted Earnings Fall, Revenue Rises; 2024 Non-GAAP EPS Range Narrowed

08:08 AM EDT, 11/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PPL (PPL) reported Q3 earnings from ongoing operations Friday of $0.42 per diluted share, down from $0.43 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.42.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $2.07 billion, up from $2.04 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.82 billion.

The energy company said it narrowed its 2024 earnings from ongoing operations outlook to $1.67 to $1.73 per share from its previous forecast of $1.63 to $1.75. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $1.71.

PPL shares rose 0.3% in recent premarket activity.
