** Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard ( ANCTF ) pulled its $46

billion bid to buy Seven & i Holdings ( SVNDF ), saying the

retailer refused to engage constructively on the deal, which

would have been Japan's largest ever foreign buyout.

** Telus Corp ( TU ) has narrowed the list of buyers for a

stake in its cellphone-tower network to Ontario Municipal

Employees Retirement System (OMERS), the infrastructure arm of

Brookfield Corp ( BN ), and British Columbia Investment

Management Corp. (BCI) in a transaction potentially worth $1.2

billion.

** Montreal-based Cogeco has launched its mobile

wireless service in Canada and plans to offer the service to 12

Canadian cities in parts of Ontario and Quebec over the coming

weeks.
