- Netflix ( NFLX ), Paramount and Comcast ( CMCSA )

submitted bids to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, which owns the

Warner Bros. movie studio, HBO, and cable networks such as CNN

and TNT.

- GE Appliances announced $150 million in new contracts to 19

suppliers in 10 states, which will supply components for the

washers and dryers, as part of a longstanding corporate strategy

to bring production back to the United States from China.

- ByHeart, the company linked to an outbreak of botulism from

infant formula, said a private lab had found the bacteria

Clostridium botulinum, which causes the illness in samples of

its product.
