Principal Financial Group Q2 Non-GAAP Operating Earnings, Revenue Rise; Dividend Boosted

05:21 PM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Principal Financial Group ( PFG ) reported Q2 non-GAAP operating earnings late Thursday of $1.63 per diluted share, up from $1.53 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected normalized EPS of $1.85, if comparable.

Operating revenue in the quarter ended June 30 rose to $4.07 billion from $3.5 billion a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.8 billion.

The company raised its quarterly dividend $0.01 to $0.72 a share, payable Sept. 27 to shareholders of record Sept. 5.
