02:19 PM EDT, 10/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Protagenic Therapeutics ( PTIX ) said Tuesday that it has struck a deal to sell about 1.95 million shares, series A warrants and series B warrants to raise about $1.275 million for working capital.

The purchase price of each share and associated warrants will be $0.64, the firm said. It expects to close the offering Nov 4, with Brookline Capital Markets, a division of Arcadia Securities, as the placement agent.

The stock was down more than 10% in recent trading.
