April 4 (Reuters) - Proxy adviser Glass Lewis on
Thursday recommended investors vote in support of an independent
chair at Goldman Sachs ( GS ), saying one would be "better able
to oversee the executives of a company and set a pro-shareholder
agenda."
The recommendation in a report followed a similar suggestion
from Institutional Shareholder Services on Wednesday. Glass
Lewis also recommended investors cast advisory votes against
compensation at the Wall Street bank, citing a "pay for
performance disconnect."
