08:58 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PureCycle Technologies ( PCT ) said Tuesday it has completed larger-scale trials of PureFive resin in biaxially oriented polypropylene, or BOPP, film containing 50% post-consumer recycled content.

The trials demonstrated that the PureFive resin performed similarly to virgin polypropylene, PureCycle ( PCT ) said.

The BOPP film has multiple applications, including include food packaging for snacks, candy and baked goods as well as labeling and adhesive tape, PureCycle ( PCT ) said.
