Qualcomm Expands Snapdragon X Plus Lineup With 8-Core Processors

08:46 AM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm ( QCOM ) announced Wednesday the launch of its Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processors, marking an expansion of the Snapdragon X Plus series portfolio.

The company said the new processors, X1P-42-100 and X1P-46-100, are expected to support devices requiring extended battery life and artificial intelligence features.

Qualcomm ( QCOM ) said the X1P-42-100 potentially reaches up to 3.4 gigahertz for a single-core boost, while the X1P-46-100 reaches up to 4 GHz.
