Quantum Biopharma Plans Special Dividend Linked to Potential Litigation Proceeds
Jun 13, 2025 5:11 AM

07:36 AM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Quantum Biopharma ( QNTM ) said Friday it plans to declare a special dividend related to its legal action against CIBC World Markets, RBC Dominion Securities, and other banks.

The special dividend will consist of contingent value rights, or CVRs, to be issued to holders of the company's class B subordinate voting shares on a one-to-one basis, the company said in a statement.

Each CVR will entitle the holder to receive a pro rata portion of 10% to 50% of the net proceeds recovered by the company in connection with the legal action, which seeks damages of over $700 million related to alleged stock price manipulation and spoofing, according to the statement.

The company said it will set the record date and exact payout percentage at a later date.
