05:18 AM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- QuantumScape ( QS ) said late Tuesday it has integrated its Cobra separator process into baseline cell production, replacing the Raptor process.

Cobra is designed to enable faster, more energy-efficient production with a smaller equipment footprint, compared with earlier processes of ceramic separator manufacturing, the company said.

QuantumScape ( QS ) said it expects its production metrics to further improve with the future iterations of Cobra.

The company's shares were up nearly 32% in recent premarket activity Wednesday.
