11:38 AM EDT, 08/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Quantumsphere Acquisition ( QUMSU ) debuted on Nasdaq Wednesday under the ticker "QUMSU," with its units opening slightly higher than its initial public offering price.
The company priced its IPO of 7.2 million units at $10 per unit and according to Yahoo Finance, the units opened at $10.02.
Each unit consists of one common share and one right that entitles the holder to receive a seventh of one common share upon completion of an initial business combination. Once the securities begin separate trading, the ordinary shares and rights are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the tickers "QUMS" and "QUMSR," respectively, the company said.
Quantumsphere said it granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 1.08 million additional units.
The offering is expected to close on Thursday.
