08:15 AM EDT, 10/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Regenx Tech ( RGXTF ) on Wednesday said a company facility in Greene County, Tennessee, suffered no damage from rain and flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.
However the company said its Regenx Module One facility, which extracts precious metals from diesel catalytic converters, is not operating because water service in the county is offline following the storm.
"Area infrastructure damage included the water intake structure for the Greeneville Water Commission resulting in water supply to the area being completely shut off. Local government is in the process of making repairs but until this is completed the Regenx ( RGXTF ) facility will be without access to a supply of water. Although officials are still in the process of implementing their recovery plans, they expect water service not to resume until next week," the company said.
Regenx ( RGXTF ) said it will offer an update on the timing for a restart of the facility when further information is available.
The company's shares closed down $0.005 to $0.02 Tuesday on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
