ReNew Energy Global Gets $331 Million ADB Funding for Clean Energy Project in India

01:39 PM EST, 11/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ReNew Energy Global ( RNW ) said Friday it is set to receive $331 million funding from the Asian Development Bank for its large-scale renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh, India.

The financing is part of a $477 million package, with the balance of $146 million to be arranged by ADB through other lenders, the company said.

The project, which integrates wind and solar capacity with a battery energy storage system, aims to generate 1,641 gigawatt-hours of clean energy per year to bolster grid stability and energy transition in India, ReNew Energy said.
