11:44 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Roku's ( ROKU ) partnership with Amazon (AMZN) supports Roku's ( ROKU ) broader plan to meet its 2025 and 2026 profitability targets, even as economic challenges persist, Wedbush said in a note Monday.
Roku ( ROKU ) said late Thursday it will integrate with Amazon's demand-side platform, aiming to offer a complete advertising solution and help move budgets from traditional TV to Connected TV, Wedbush said.
Analysts had expected such a partnership, viewing Roku ( ROKU ) and Amazon as the top competitors in the Connected TV space, according to the note.
Within CTV, Free Ad-Supported TV channels are likely to gain more ad dollars than Ad-Supported Video on Demand, thanks to their lower costs, Wedbush analysts noted.
Roku's ( ROKU ) low and steady ad prices on its FAST platform give it a strong position even as Amazon's large inventory has pushed prices down elsewhere, Wedbush said.
Roku ( ROKU ) is expanding revenue through improved ad targeting, more inventory, subscription growth, media and entertainment recovery, and interactive ad formats, according to Wedbush.
Wedbush maintained its outperform rating and a $100 price target for Roku ( ROKU ).
Shares of the company were up more than 8% in recent trading.
