08:11 AM EST, 02/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Romania's central bank (NBR) Friday said its Board kept rates unchanged, as expected:

-- The monetary policy rate was kept at 6.50%;

-- The lending (Lombard) facility rate was left at 7.50% and the deposit facility rate at 5.50%;

-- The existing levels of minimum reserve requirement ratios were maintained on both leu- and foreign currency-denominated liabilities of credit institutions.
