07:11 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) said Tuesday its Pratt & Whitney unit has achieved positive test results on its 3D-printed TJ150 turbine wheel.

The TJ150 turbojet engine, which delivers 150 pounds of thrust, is designed for autonomous systems and weapons.

RTX said the testing has confirmed that the company is on track "with the engine performing at full operating speeds and temperatures and meeting expected life duration."

RTX described the testing results as "a significant step moving from static structures to rotating hardware."
