08:59 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rubrik ( RBRK ) is rolling out its Semantic AI Governance Engine (SAGE), which the company said is intended to secure and control autonomous agents in real time.

According to the company, artificial intelligence agents are autonomous software systems that use AI to recognize their environment and complete complex tasks without constant human supervision. It also said legacy systems rely on rules that can't understand natural language or adapt to unforeseen actions taken by agents.

The company said SAGE powers its Rubrik Agent Cloud "safely scale the enterprise AI workforce while maintaining total control over agent behavior."
