Russia says Ukrainian drones tried to strike TurkStream compressor station

MOSCOW, April 9 (Reuters) - Russia's defence ministry

said on Wednesday that Ukraine had attempted to attack a

compressor station serving the TurkStream pipeline that sends

gas from Russia to Turkey via the Black Sea.

In a statement, the ministry said that no damage had been

caused and the drones had been downed by air defences.
