FRANKFURT, Jan 21 (Reuters) - RWE, the world's
second-largest developer of offshore wind farms, sees no need
for impairments on its project off the U.S. east coast, it said
on Tuesday, after President Donald Trump cut support to the
sector on his first day in office.
"We currently see no need for impairments as the seabed
lease is valid at least until the 2060s, so it's a long time to
go to realize the project at a later stage," the company said in
e-mailed comments.
