LONDON, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Ryanair Chief
Executive Michael O'Leary told Reuters the budget carrier was
planning on taking 25 deliveries of Boeing ( BA ) aircraft
between now and October, adding that he was pleased with the
planemaker's turnaround.
"[The deliveries] give us a bit more capacity, and we feed
that capacity by lowering airfares," O'Leary said, saying the
planes were initially meant to be delivered next spring.
He added that Boeing ( BA ) has told them they expect the 737 MAX 7
to be certified by the end of this year, while the 737 MAX 10
should receive certification from the United States Federal
Aviation Administration by early 2026.
