07:18 AM EST, 01/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SAGA Metals ( SAGMF ) on Monday said an initial petrographic analysis confirmed the presence of uraninite, a key uranium mineral, along an 18km trend at te Double Mer uranium project in Labrador.

The result has been further verified through uranium count radiometrics and surface sampling.

The Double Mer uranium project covers 1,024 claims across 25,600 hectares in eastern-central Labrador. Saga Metals ( SAGMF ) will undertake a maiden 1500-metre drilling program on the property in the first quarter.
