05:47 PM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sandstorm Gold ( SAND ) on Thursday issued updates on its portfolio of streaming and royalty assets., including Lundin Gold's discovery of a new Bonza Sur Gold deposit in the Fruta del Norte mine in Ecuador.

Lundin expanded its 2024 near-mine drilling program by 10,000 meters to 56,000 meters to assess the deposit's potential further, Sandstorm said.

Sandstorm also said Bonterra Resources released additional drill results on the Phoenix JV project in Canada, where high-grade mineralization on the Moss Target was confirmed.

High-grade results were also reported by Awale Resources from its drill program at the Odienne project in Ivory Coast, Sandstorm said.
