Sandy Spring Bancorp's Q2 Core Earnings, Revenue Fall

08:32 AM EDT, 07/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sandy Spring Bancorp ( SASR ) reported Q2 core earnings Tuesday of $0.54 per diluted share, down from $0.60 a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.43.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and noninterest income, was $99.9 million, down from $107.6 million a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $99.2 million.

Shares of the company were up 1.6% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
