04:52 PM EDT, 10/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Satellogic ( SATL ) said late Monday it launched its new very high-resolution NextGen satellite platform for sovereign and AI-first Earth observation missions.

NextGen features 30-centimeter class resolution across visible and multispectral bands and artificial intelligence processing capabilities onboard to detect changes on the ground in real time.

The platform is already under agreement for delivery, with the first satellite expected to be operational in 2027, according to the statement.

Satellogic ( SATL ) shares rose 9% in after-hours trading.
