Scilex Shares Rise After Denali Capital's Registration Statement for Semnur Deal

01:46 PM EST, 11/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Scilex Holding ( SCLX ) shares rose 4.3% in recent Wednesday trading after Denali Capital Acquisition ( DECA ) filed a registration statement on Form S-4 related to the proposed business combination between Denali and Scilex's ( SCLX ) Semnur Pharmaceuticals unit.

The previously announced merger provides for a pre-transaction equity value of Semnur of $2.5 billion and is anticipated to close in Q1 next year, Semnur said.
