08:50 AM EDT, 10/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Thursday with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) 0.3% higher and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) down 0.4%.

Levi Strauss (LEVI) shares fell by over 11% after the company reported a fiscal Q3 net revenue that missed the average analyst estimate compiled by Capital IQ.
