Sector Update: Consumer Stocks Advance Premarket Thursday

09:13 AM EST, 02/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were advancing premarket Thursday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) up 0.1% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) 0.5% higher.

Unilever ( UL ) shares were down 2% after the company reported a decline in Q4 turnover.

British American Tobacco ( BTI ) stock was down 2% after the company reported lower preliminary 2025 adjusted earnings and revenue.

Anheuser-Busch InBev ( BUD ) shares were up nearly 4% after the company posted higher Q4 underlying earnings and revenue.
