09:06 AM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed premarket Thursday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) was 0.3% higher and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLY ) was inactive recently.
D.R. Horton ( DHI ) was up more than 5% after it reported higher fiscal Q2 earnings and revenue in addition to lifting its fiscal 2024 revenue guidance.
Las Vegas Sands ( LVS ) was down more than 4% even after it reported higher Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.
Adamas One ( JEWL ) said the Nasdaq Stock Market has accepted its plan to regain compliance with its listing requirements related to the timely filing of financial reports. The company said the exchange has granted an extension until May 20. Adamas One ( JEWL ) was 0.5% lower pre-bell.
