In corporate news, Revance Therapeutics ( RVNC ) shares jumped nearly 15%. The company has received a new buyout proposal from Swiss medical aesthetics firm Teoxane Laboratories, offering $3.60 per share in cash, topping a prior bid from Crown Laboratories of $3.10 per share.
Regional Health Properties ( RHE/PA ) and SunLink Health Systems ( SSY ) have agreed to merge in an all-stock deal. Regional Health shares soared 130% and SunLink surged 19%.
Castle Biosciences ( CSTL ) shares rose 5%. The company received approval from the New York State Department of Health for its TissueCypher test, a tool designed to assess the risk of progression from Barrett's esophagus to esophageal cancer.
