Sensient Technologies Q1 Adjusted Earnings Decline, Revenue Rises; 2024 Revenue Outlook Updated

08:03 AM EDT, 04/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sensient Technologies ( SXT ) posted Q1 adjusted earnings Friday of $0.79 per diluted share, down from $0.80 a year earlier.

An analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.70.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $384.7 million, up from $369 million a year earlier.

An analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $365.6 million.

The specialty ingredients manufacturer said it continues to expect its 2024 adjusted diluted EPS to grow at a low to mid-single-digit rate. Two analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $2.99.

Revenue for 2024 is now expected to grow at a mid-single-digit rate compared with low to mid-single-digit rate growth previously. Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $1.5 billion.

Separately, the company's board maintained the quarterly dividend at $0.41 per share, payable June 3 to shareholders of record on May 6.
