08:56 AM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SharpLink Gaming ( SBET ) said Friday it purchased 176,270.69 ETH for roughly $462.9 million.

The company said it has raised about $79 million in gross proceeds from its $1 billion at-the-market share sale, so far, most of which went toward ETH purchases.

The purchase makes Sharplink "the largest publicly traded holder of ETH in the world," according to the company.

SharpLink's ETH holdings have gained 11.8% per share since June 2, the company said.

Shares of the company were down more than 67% in recent Friday premarket activity.
