11:43 AM EDT, 03/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets on Friday said Shopify ( SHOP ) , Constellation Software ( CNSWF ) , Kinaxis ( KXSCF ) and The Descartes Systems Group ( DSGX ) are its best investment ideas among the Canadian technology companies in its coverage.

According to RBC, the S&P/TSX Info-tech sub-sector has declined 23% year to date, as AI disruption concerns intensified and software contagion spread across its coverage.

The average stock in RBC's coverage fell 15% year to date and the median stock has dropped 20% year to date.

While 79% of RBC's covered stocks reported revenue in the fourth quarter that beat consensus expectations, 75% of the stocks in its coverage are now in the lowest quintile of their historical valuation range, RBC said.

"While negative software sentiment may persist in the near-term, we believe sustained healthy growth will underpin improved returns on stocks in our coverage in the remainder of the year," RBC said.
