07:51 AM EDT, 05/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Shopify ( SHOP ) reported a Q1 net loss Thursday of $0.53 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $0.21 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Factset expected EPS of $0.17.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $2.36 billion, up from $1.86 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.33 billion.

For Q2, the company said it expects revenue to grow at a mid-twenties percentage rate from a year earlier.

Shopify ( SHOP ) shares were down 8.2% in recent premarket activity.
