05:31 PM EDT, 07/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Shutterstock ( SSTK ) has appointed Chief Financial Officer Rik Powell as interim chief executive officer, effective immediately, after Paul Hennessy stepped down as CEO, the company said late Monday.

Powell will continue to serve as CFO during the transition, while Hennessy will remain with the company in a non-executive advisory role through Aug. 7 to help ensure a smooth transition, the company said.
